The Trump Network - Will It Work For You?
You Know Who Donald Trump is, but What's The Trump Network?
I don't know if it's true, but I heard that billionaire real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump said that if he lost it all again, he'd start over in a network marketing company. Well, Mr. Trump hasn't lost a thing, but has followed through with his idea of starting with an MLM company - his own - The Trump Network.
A wise businessman, Mr. Trump did not start a company from scratch. Instead, he bought Ideal Health - originally started in 2003. What sets The Trump Network apart from other health & nutrition MLM companies is the use of personal testing to provide customized supplements for the client. They use a process called "PrivaTest" which checks critical metabolic markers to indicate how little or how much nutritional support is needed and in what areas - no "one size fits all" supplementation here!
Donald Trump Endorses Network Marketing
After several months of pre-launch, The Trump Network got off the ground in November 2009. The investment made by Mr. Trump in Ideal Health is quite an endorsement for the direct sales industry as a whole.
Due to the high profile of Donald Trump, a lot of high profile individuals in network marketing were attracted to The Trump Network. Successful leaders in network marketing will, for one reason or another, sometimes change companies.

Another Trump Network team lead by successful MLM leaders is enrollQ.com whose website says you will be "mentored by Veteran Network and Internet Marketers, Team Leaders and Executive" and you'll "Discover Why We are the Best Team For You To Join."
The Trump Network / Ideal Health Compensation Plan
For those who ask the question, "How do I get paid?" here's a brief overview of the comp plan. For distributors with a "Platinum" qualification and above the comp plan pays 7% (7,7,7,7,5,3) up to 6 levels in a Unilevel with compression (with up to a combined 23% more in Platinum and Platinum Maximizer bonuses). For people below the Platinum level (5000 CGV + 3 Silvers) the compensation plan only pays up to 4% (4,3,2,1) and payment is reduced from 6 levels deep to 4. For those who attain the Diamond and Executive Diamond Director Levels, there are also two bonus pools to draw from.
A new distributor may choose to get started the "FastStart Way" ($48 Membership + $449 Business Starter Kit). The FastStart Way automatically qualifies a new distributor to receive FastStart bonuses. $100 is paid weekly to the person who enrolls a new FastStart Way member, plus $20 is paid each week to the 1st - 6th upline qualified Silver Directors and above.
To maximize the additional money from the FastStart Way program, you need to have achieved at least the Silver Director Level. The Silver Director Level requires no less than $100 in personal Commissionable Volume (CV) and 3 Director Legs who each have $100 CV with a minimum of $600 in Compressed Group Volume (GV). Director, Bronze, Silver & Gold Levels are categorized as "Learning" Levels. Platinum & Platinum Director 1-3 are the "Supplemental Income" Levels and the "Wealth Creation" Levels are Diamond, Diamond 1-3 & Executive Diamond Director. It would be interesting to determine the dollar amount "Supplemental Income" equates to, and how much income I can expect while still at one of the "Learning" levels.
Is Success Determined by the Company, the Team, the Comp Plan - Or the Strategy?
Is being a part of the best team or having the perfect compensation plan the key to your financial freedom with The Trump Network or, for that matter, any other MLM company? Your success in The Trump Network or any other MLM company will be dependent upon your understanding and application a few key components.
